Kids Christmas

Other than having a stomach bug going around the house for X-mas morning, we had a good day. Wanted to share some pics of the kids and how much they loved their gifts. It was funny to watch the boys help Lily open at the beginning and then once she figured it out she needed no ones help. Ethan got the Lego's and a Wii that he wanted and Aidan got Stinky the Garbage truck (which is in the pic above) . Lily got her own ride on toy and her doll that she wanted. Everyone but me was in bed by 8:30 pm. Hoping that the weather isn't going to be as bad as they claim (2 feet). I also hope all the throwing up is over.

Polar Express at Ecotarium

We had a great time at the Ecotrium today. The kids sang songs and our 2 boys were the first kids to volunteer to sing. Aidan lead the group in Jingle Bells. They read the Polar Express story to us and then we got on the train and had a very cold ride around the grounds. After we went inside for cookies and hot cocoa. Then we got to see Santa. Aidan went right up to him and told him what he wanted and Ethan sweet talked him. Lily stood in the back looking at him. Matt took her up to him and she ran back to me. She wouldn't get on his lap or let him touch her. I got one quick picture and that was it. 6 more days to go and I can't wait to see their faces. Aidan will be so fun this year and Lily won't know what to do with herself. Ethan has lots of questions about Santa, but swears he will always believe.

Ethan got his dragon purple belt today, He is so funny with his poses. He wanted to show everyone his commas. He is enjoying the sparring and learning how to use the weapons.

Here is a picture of Ethan on his holiday concert day. He told me he wanted a tie. I think he was so cute. He wanted to know if he looked like he was going to the office today. I bought them for Christmas and I got one for Aidan too. Wait till you see him. They are going to meet Santa on Sunday and ride a train at the Ecotarium. I will have to get more pics.

The hunter

We went to PA for Thanksgiving and Ethan wanted to bring his toy shot gun to go hunting. Thanks to his cousin Dylan he got all dressed up like a hunter too. He asked me to add to his list to Santa that he wants his own orange vest and hat.

Caught the kids dancing to Dora yesterday. The funniest part was to see Aidan continue when Lily stopped. He is such a great big brother. He kisses her all the time and calls her his sweety.

Halloween 2010

The kids had a blast tonight. Ethan was a scary skeleton, Aidan was a fireman w/ a firetruck, and Lily was a doggy. She wore the 1st costume I ever made for Ethan. We had a tutu and a crown for her but she kept pulling them over her head. Ethan was all about being scary. He loved his mask and knife. Aidan is a firetruck nut so this one is just perfect. He had working lights and everything. I will post other pics of that costume. Poor Lily is sick so she will be going to the dr. tomorrow, so she sat in the van w/ mommy this year, out of the cold.

It's Pumpkin time

Here are a few pics of the kids and their pumpkins. Ethan loves his "ghost pumpkin. " Lily wasn't quite sure what to do with the guts she put her hand in and found a seed and ate it. Aidan never made it to the table. He came in the kitchen saw the inside of the pumpkin and smelled the air and said I gonna be sick and threw up. Not a strong stomach. Haha. I can't wait to show everyone the kids costumes this year.

A drive to New Hamphshire

We decide to take the kids on a drive to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. So we thought we would drive to New Hampshire. When we first made plans we thought we would go to the White Mts., but a 9 1/2 hour trip with no stops up and back was a little much for 3 kids under 6. So we promised them New Hampshire so we drove up there and then found a place to have a picnic and then drove back to Mass. The boys found some pumpkins at a farm stand. Still need more pics in the leaves this year, but it was still beautiful to see the colors. The only bad thing is we didn't see any moose, but we are going to keep looking.

Ethan's new karate video

Here is the newest video of Ethan's belt graduation. He has now earned his orange belt. He did such a great job. He still loves karate and now he would like to try black belt training course so he can use a weapon. That what we need in our townhouse.

Brotherly Love

Well the 1st week of school is over and Ethan tonight told me that he missed his little sister the most while he was there. He wanted me to take this picture of him and her together. It turned out so well.

Ethan's 1st day of first grade

I asked Ethan if I could take his picture this morning for his first day of 1st grade. He told me yes, but he wanted me to do a viseo too. Well this was how excited he was this morning. He was ready to go at 7:00 and we didn't have to tell him to brush his teeth and hair. What a great little man.

Lily Showing off her new Skill

I thought I would show off Lily's new skills. She is doing very good at walking. Her habit now is to get into my lazy suzan and find things to eat or get into the recyclables and play w/ the soda bottles. She is very proud of herself. She is very sturdy when she does go walking around and has finally how to fall down gracefully.

Ecotarium

Went to enjoy the the beautiful day at the ecotarium. The kids like to play with all the exhibits. Lily even got to play in the pre-k zone. Aidan got to ride the train which was his favorite and Ethan liked the planterium. We had never done that before and all the kids loved it because Big Bird and Elmo talked to them.

I got a video of Lily starting to walk. She isn't very sturdy but she is working at it. I am going to be in so much trouble.

I had to post this video. Lily thought it was so funny hitting Ethan in the head with the zhu zhu pet. Oh her laugh reminds me of Aidan's it was so funny, the louder Ethan yelled the funnier she thought it was.

More RI Beach Pics

Here are some other pics thatwe took of the sites at the beach. The sunset was beautiful. The sky turned a bright red. The fishing & lobster boats were awesome to see. The boys didn't like the smell, but they got use to it. Had to post a pic of the coast guard boat we saw also, the men were all ready for something. The guy in front had his machine gun mounted on. The one w/ the car going through a tunnel is a place called 2 towers and they were having a fancy wedding there.
