Ethan is now a Karate Kid and he earned his purple belt tonight.  So proud of him tonight he did such a great job tonight.

Aidan's school project

Aidan had to do a family themed school project and I searched my computer and realized that I have no pictures of myself on it.  So tonight Matt took some and this is how they turned out.  Also Aidan wanted to take one of his bunny.  Nana Lou Ann helped by putting clothes on him so he isn't "cold" anymore.

Lily found her music box and bunny headband tonight and then she had to find her tutu.  She found a dance partner and away she went.  She is so cute.

Aidan's Pre-K pics

 Here are some pics I took of Aidan this morning on his 1st day of Pre-K.  As you can tell he was very excited.  I am proud of myself that I didn't cry.  Lily cried enough for everyone.  She was not very happy that he left.  But once we got home she was fine.  I was so proud of Aidan this morning,  he walked up to the teachers and told them, "I am Aidan Page and I am Pre-K, don't worry mom I am OK, bye."  He also told me that he threw away him not listening ears and was wearing his listening ones.  Too cute.

Aidan's 1st day of Pre-K video

Aidan wanted to do a video like Ethan did on his 1st day.  So of course Ethan had to help.  He was very excited to go and had no proplems getting ready this morning.

First day of 2nd grade for Ethan

Today is the first day of 2nd grade for Ethan. He was very happy boy when he woke up and seemed to want to go. I will see how long that lasts. He wanted me to take a picture of his backpack and I wanted to take a picture of him trying to lift up his backpack full of stuff.

Rhett

We had to put Rhett to sleep yesterday. He was 10 years old. I can remember Matt promising me 10 yrs ago that if we moved to Albion he would get me a dog. So we decided to get a Golden Retriever. We went to this farm and they had 8 puppies running around and we wanted to get a male because I already knew what I was naming him, "Rhett." (after a Buffalo Sabres player). He was this big fur ball running around the yard with a stick in his mouth having all the other puppies chase his. We picked him and the people put all the other puppies back in the pen and he was running around with his mother. When we got ready to leave the mother picked him up and brought him over to our car and she turned around and walked off. I think she approved.

He was such a good dog and when we brought Ethan into the house he licked him and followed him everywhere. Ethan shared his food w/ him and wanted to play with him outside. Even when Aidan came home Rhett was so gentle.

When we had to move to Mass, my family said that they would look after him until we found a bigger place. When he got to the farm he felt right at home and my parents took such great care of him. He became my dad's buddy. He loved to go for rides in the rhino and on the lawn mower.

We will all miss him so much and we couldn't have asked for a better dog in all the world. We love and miss you buddy. RIP!!!

We took the kids to the putt putt golf in Auburn, MA today. I had to share the video of Aidan w/ everyone. He did ok w/ the 1st 9 holes but the final 9 he was hot and tiredm so he kicked it more than he hit it.
